- 1 ready to bake whole wheat pizza dough
- 1/3 cup(s) wheat flour, white, all
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup(s) pizza sauce
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup(s) basil leaves
- 1 cup(s) onions, sliced
- 1 cup(s) diced mozzarella
- 4 cup(s) roma tomatoes, sliced
Directions
- Take dough out at least 20 minutes to let it rise.
- Preheat oven to 500°F.
- Sprinkle some flour on your work surface, on your hands or on a rolling pin.
- Dump the dough out onto the floured surface, sprinkle a little more flour over it and roll it out.
- Stretch the dough on a floured pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil evenly on dough.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly.
- Add red peppers, green peppers, basil leaves, onions, mozzarella and tomatoes.
- Bake until golden, about 15 minutes. Turning once while baking.
- Serve hot.
