Simple Tuna Salad
The simplest dishes sometimes are the most enjoyable. Try this lightened-up version of classic tuna salad. A deli favorite without the extra fat and calories.

- 10 ounce(s) water-packed tuna fish (2-5 oz. cans)
- 2 tablespoon(s) light mayonnaise (add more if you desire)
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1/4 cucumber, finely chopped
- 1/4 cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 shallots, minced
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
Directions
- Open cans of tuna and drain out all of the liquid.
- In a small bowl, combine tuna meat, light mayonnaise, celery, cucumber, shallot, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Stir, using a fork, for your desired consistency. Add more mayonnaise for a creamier salad.
