Slow Cooker Organic Bean, Beef & Salsa Dip

- 16 ounce(s) grass fed beef
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne
- 5 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 64 tablespoon(s) organic medium salsa
- 2 cup(s) organic refried black beans
- 24 tablespoon(s) organic light sour cream
- 16 ounce(s) organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounce(s) organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded to top with
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown beef for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
- Drain excess oil, then add the salt, chili powder, cayenne, onions and garlic and cook seasoned beef for a few more minutes. (about 2-3 minutes)
- In a slow cooker, combine seasoned beef, salsa, refried beans, sour cream and 2 cups of cheddar cheese.
- Cover and cook on low setting for 2-3 hours.
- Fifteen minutes before serving, top with the remaining cheese and cook on low to warm until cheese melts.
- Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
