- 2 tablespoon(s) teriyaki sauce
- 1 floz white wine
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 16 ounce(s) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup(s) carrots, chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) celery, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 ounce(s) sesame seeds
- 2 cup(s) whole grain brown rice
Directions
- In a resealable bag combine the teriyaki sauce, white wine, garlic powder and shrimp.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Sauté the carrot, onion, celery and garlic in the oil for about 5 minutes.
- Drain marinade and discard. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, until shrimp turn pink.
- Add the sesame seeds.
- Serve hot over rice.
