Apple Cinnamon Pancakes
Start your day off sweet with a fresh twist on the same old pancakes. These apple-infused flapjacks have plenty of a-peel!

- 1 3/4 cup(s) whole wheat flour
- 12 teaspoon(s) pure cane sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 4 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1 tablespoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup(s) low fat milk
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Add milk in slowly, whisk it just until the batter is combined. Fold in chopped apples. Be careful not to over mix.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Coat with cooking spray, place a 0.33 cup of pancake batter onto hot skillet.
- Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. You should flip the pancakes when you start to see bubbles.
- Transfer to a plate once golden brown.
- Repeat with the rest of the batter and serve pancakes with your favorite topping.
