French Toast with a Healthy Twist
You don't have to be in France to do as the French do. Raise a toast to this healthy, breakfast offering. It’s a healthy version of your classic favorite but with a delicious twist that will have your family begging you for more!

- 4 tablespoon(s) almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon(s) honey
- 1 cooking spray
- 8 1/2 tablespoon(s) egg whites
- 1/2 cup(s) orange juice
- 6 slices of bread, cut in half
Directions
- Combine coconut butter, cinnamon and honey in a small bowl.
- Use cooking spray to grease baking pan.
- In a shallow bowl mix egg whites and orange juice. Dip bread slices into egg white mixture and place in prepared pan.
- Bake until golden brown (approx. 20 min).
- Serve with fruit or topping of choice.
