Red Roasted Potatoes

  • 16 ounce(s) red skinned potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon(s) French Onion Dip Mix
  • 1 teaspoon(s) kosher sea salt
  • 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
  • 1/2 cup(s) sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) fresh ground pepper

Directions

    1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F
    2. Wash and scrub potatoes. Cut into half-moon wedges and place into large container that has a sealed lid top.
    3. Add Onions, garlic, salt, pepper and oil to potatoes.
    4. Add Lipton Onion dip packet to potatoes.
    5. Place lid on container and shake until all potatoes are evenly covered in mix.
    6. Leave in refrigerator for an hour or more for oil and seasoning to soak into potatoes. 
    7. Place potatoes into an oven safe pan and spread evenly.
    8. Cook potatoes covered with tin foil for 30 mins. Then uncover and cook for an additional 10 mins., or until potatoes look golden brown and cooked thoroughly.
    9. Remove from oven, serve and enjoy!
