24 ounce(s) boneless beef sirloin steak
1onion, chopped
2garlic cloves, finely minced
1 dash(es) salt
1 dash(es) pepper
3 tablespoon(s) fat free mayonnaise
1 floz lime juice
1 floz shaved fennel
1/2 teaspoon(s) turmeric
1 3/4 cup(s) can artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained and chopped
1 dash(es) salt
1 dash(es) pepper
1/2 tablespoon(s) dill
Directions
Grill or broil steak until meat thermometer reaches at least 145°F
Slice across the grain into thin strips.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute.
Add the onion and garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the beef, salt and pepper and sauté for about 3 minutes.
Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Whisk the mayonnaise, lime juice, fennel, and turmeric in a large bowl.
Add the artichoke hearts, and beef mixture. Stir and season with salt and pepper.
Cover with plastic and wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Line a serving platter with lettuce; top with steak mixture and dressing.
