  • 16 ounce(s) carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) basil

Directions

    1. Place carrots, 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, pepper, lemon juice and salt in a pot of water. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to high and simmer. Cook for about 30 minutes.
    2. Drain the carrots
    3. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and garnish with basil. Serve hot.
