  • 2/3 cup(s) fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup(s) pine nuts
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 ounce(s) Percorino Romano, freshly grated

Directions

    1. In a food processor or blender, blend Parmesan, pine nuts, basil, and garlic.
    2. Pulse to combine while adding in olive oil slowly. Add salt and pepper to taste and pulse.
    3. Serve over pasta, vegetables, or chicken. You can even use as a spread for toasted bread.
