10garlic cloves
32 ounce(s) red potatoes
2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 cup(s) skim milk
2 cup(s) half and half
1 dash(es) pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 °F.
Place the garlic on a sheet of aluminum foil and wrap tightly.
Roast for about 30 minutes. and then unwrap.
Peel and dice potatoes.
Place in a large saucepan, add the salt and cover with water.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce to maintain a rolling boil.
Cook for about 20 minutes.
Remove from the heat and drain.
Heat the milk, half-and-half in a medium saucepan over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
In a large saucepan, combine the potatoes and the roasted garlic, cream mixture, salt and pepper.
