Perfect Grilled Pears

  • 4 pears
  • 1 teaspoon(s) grapeseed oil
  • 2 ounce(s) walnuts
  • 3 ounce(s) Gorgonzola
  • 2 tablespoon(s) honey
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread toasted

Directions

    1. Preheat the grill to 350°F.
    2. Cut the pears into 1-inch thick wedges.
    3. Remove and discard the cores.
    4. Brush them with the oil.
    5. Cover grill with lid and grill for 4 minutes on each side.
    6. Meanwhile, toast walnuts in a small pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
    7. Pour walnuts in a bowl add Gorgonzola. Add honey and stir.
    8. Pile the pears onto slices of toast and sprinkle with walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese.
