Green Beans with Toasted Pine Nuts

  • 24 ounce(s) green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/3 cup(s) pine nuts
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to tatse
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to tatse
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper, to taste

Directions

    1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add green beans and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
    2. While green beans cook, heat an oiled skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minuted until softened. Add pine nuts and cook for another 3 minutes or until golden brown. 
    3. Drain Green beans and place into skillet with garlic and pine nuts, and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. Place in a serving dish. Serve and enjoy.
