Cheesy Noodle Dinner
When you need a quick-fix meal that the kids will love, these cheesy noodles fit the bill. Prepared with a few ingredients, this is a gourmet goulash that will please the pickiest palate.

- 8 ounce(s) fettucini
- 24 ounce(s) lean ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup(s) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) tomato paste
- 2 cup(s) barley, cooked
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 1 cup(s) Parmesan cheese, shredded
Directions
- Place a stockpot over high heat and add water and some 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, place a skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey and onions, and cook for 8 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and 1/2 cup water.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
- Drain the pasta and add them to the skillet. Stir in the barley, remaining salt, black pepper, and cheese.
- Make sure cheese is completely melted before serving.
