Steak with Mushroom Sauce

- 6 steaks
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 teaspoon(s) black
- 1/8 cup(s) mushrooms, sliced
- 3/4 cup(s) onion, chopped
- 6 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoon(s) teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup(s) low sodium vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup(s) all purpose flour
- 2 floz water
- 1/10 ounce(s) rosemary
- 1/4 cup(s) cilantro
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250 ºF.
- Place steaks on a rack over a baking sheet.
- Rub with 1/2 tablespoon of oil and season with1 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a medium skillet over high heat.
- add steaks and sear for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Cook on the edges for about an extra minute.
- Set aside and keep warm.
- In a separate skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Sauté mushrooms and onion for 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add teriyaki sauce, broth and flour mixed with water.
- Bring to a simmer and stir.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in rosemary, cilantro, salt and pepper.
- Top steaks with sauce.
