Tasty Turkey Meatballs
On top of spaghetti... There is a place for these tempting turkey meatballs. Bypass the beef in favor of this healthier alternative. It's downright delicious.

- 16 ounce(s) lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup(s) egg substitute
- 1 dash(es) salt
- 1 dash(es) black pepper
- 1 1/2 cup(s) plain breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon(s) chervil
- 1 cooking spray
- 4 cup(s) tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup(s) red grape juice
- 1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350º F. In a mixing bowl, place the meat, egg substitute, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs and chopped chervil.
- Mix ingredients well.
- Form meat mixture into round golf-sized balls and place them on a sheet of wax paper.
- The mixture should make between 15-20 meatballs.
- Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl. Dip each meatball in the breadcrumbs. Covering the meatballs completely.
- Place the finished meatballs on wax paper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and spray cooking spray.
- Place the meatballs in the pan and brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Turn over and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Repeat until all sides are browned.
- Place the meatballs in a Dutch oven. Pour the tomato sauce and red grape juice and lemon juice, cover, and bake for about 1 hour.
- Serve.
